Favourite Toy.

Timoth - Michael loves his football and will sit with it when not chasing it.

Timothy - Michael has a new friend.

This week Timothy Michael has been getting ready for Christmas both at work and home.

He has put up his Christmas lights in his corner so that he and his teddy bear can get in the festive mood.

A few years ago now someone bought me a Border Collie doorstop. It's basically a stuffed toy with a weight in the base which is sufficient to hold open a door. It's never really been used for it's purpose because Tess terrorizes it something terrible and would have it destroyed in no time at all.

I was doing some tidying up yesterday and found the doorstop so put it by Timmy's bed and I noticed today that he had pulled it in to his bed and was all snuggled up to it. I think he has found a new friend.

Happy Third Anniversary Timmy.

Timothy - Michael taken on the anniversary of his third year with us, it's amazing how quickly the time has passed. The picture was taken by the rose garden, he loves to spend the day at work with me so thankfully the boss is very kind and allows him to come and help me.

Guarding the dinner.

Timothy - Michael guarding the dinner. We are now at the point where I can leave him that close to the food and trust him not to touch it, that's provided I am in the room. I think it would probably be to tempting if there was no one around. This is the sort of training we are doing these days, it's just basically reinforcing things that he has already learnt. Just in case someone is thinking I'm a cruel tease I will add that apart from the usual praise he did get a nice bit of fish for his trouble.

My firth walk in the hills with Timmy.

Yesterday Timothy - Michael and I went for a walk in the Peak District which isn't to far away from where we live. It was a bitterly cold day but that was good as it meant it was quiet which is how I would have prefered it for our first day out. It gave me chance to see how he would react to things. There were no real problems as such once we arrived, the hardest thing was to keep him focused on the trail rather than the sheep. The car was a probelm in that he didn't choose t...o go in but once he was in he wasn't too upset about it so I'm hoping after a few trips he will see that only good comes from going in the car. After the walk, which was eight miles in length we had time to go and visit my parents where we stayed until the evening before traveling home which is mostly by motorway and he settled down quite well while on the motorway, he seems more unsettled when stopping and starting. So now I want to go every couple of weeks or so to keep the momentum going.

Some pictures from our first walk together.

A new jacket from Santa Paws.

Even though there is no gardening to be done this week Timothy - Michael thought he would make good use of his new gardening jacket that Santa bought him.
